4/5/2020 · Course Map: 2020 Half Marathon Course Map PDF Gatorade Endurance Formula will be available on race day with Lemon-Lime at every other aid station. This Endurance formula is a specialized sports drink formulated nearly 2x the sodium and 3x the potassium of traditional Gatorade, with no artificial flavors and a light taste.
Location: San Francisco, CA. Start Time: 6:15am. Avg Temps (f): 63/49. Time Limit: 4 hours, 45 minutes. Lessons Learned from Race Reports. Keep in mind, the course changed as of 2018, with taking runners over/back the Golden Gate Bridge and having less elevation gain than previous years Some steep, hilly sections can be challenging, so train for hills!, And the San Francisco Half Marathon is in SF and is no longer an out-and-back, so getting there (the start is way too early to use BART), parking, and getting home require some planning and arranging (unless one lives in SF ). So I don’t plan on doing the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Francisco Half Marathon again soon.
